During tbe course or tbe evening tables
were arranged and the merry crowd entered
Into a contest at the game of "progressive
angling " Alter Ibis had been enjoyed for
some time the score cards were taken up and
the Judges found that Mr. George Lomax bad
proven himself the most skillful fisherman
and the prize, a handsome book, was presented
to him.
Delightful refreshments were then served
and the rest of tbe evening was most pleasantly
spent In conversation, Interspersed
with Instrumental and vocal music.
Dentil ol Judge Klagb's Infant Son.
Judge and Mrs. Klugb have tbe deepest
sympathy of tbelr irlends In the loss of their
Infant son, Chas. B. Klugb, Saturday, May
2G. 1905. He lacked only a few days of being
a year old, and was an unusually large and
healthy child until bis last Illness.
The little sufferer withstood the ravages ol
disease and pain for more than a month, and
when his fight for life seemed a little hopeful,
other complications set In. In a delirium of

voice became fulnter and fainter to the little
spirit, the voice of tbe gentle Master called,
saying: "Suffer little children to come unto
me."
Short as was this little life It was not without
Its mission.
In the bleeding hearts that cherished It so
dearly here, there are wounds that will not
be healed until In the higher life tbe little
Bplrlt takes Its place again In the family.
In tbe language of the Psalmist: "I shall
go to him but be Bhall not return to me."
