The fire we learn was accidental but not knowing tbe particulars we cannot Bay more. This Is inueed a beavy loss to the Company but we suppose it was well covered by insurance. Tbe employees thrown out of work so unexpectedly and perhaps for some time will suffer most; great sympathy is expressed for tbem ana we trust all will soon be well wltb tbem. 4. for DELIGHTFULLY ENERTAINED On last Friday afternoon tbe Eucbre Club was most delightfully enertalned by Miss Kate Marshall at ber pretty home on Magazine hill. From thirty to forty guests were present all of whom spent a most enjoyable lime. At tbe close of the afternoon an eltgant salad course was served. Miss Marshall is a charming hostess and enertatns her guests with an elegance of manner that tew posses. Mr.iand Mrs. James T.
