t i fc i Abbvllle Bonds. During last week several Abbeville bon<! changed hands at fair prices. Shop bonds, 7 per cent. Interest, payabl annually, $102.50? par value. $100. School bonds, 7 per cent Interest, payab semi-annually, $117?par value, $100. At these prices, a correct Interact was ii eluded. The shop bonds are ranging a little bight In price than formerly, and the price < school bonds is lower than heretofore. W know of no reason for the fluctatlon in prl< except in the demand. The security, < safety, of the Investment has been Id no wli changed. The shop bonds'ware for a tin below par, bat of recent years the price bi been at and above par. The school bone were sold at par when first Issued, and w believe they have never exchanged bonds t less than par. They have been sold at prloi varying from par to $120, which latter tlgurs we believe Is the hlgtst price at which the have been sold, though higher prices wei oflered at one time several years ago. Tt sohool bonds for one reason are more desln ble than the shop bonds because the intere ia DRvable twice a year. Very fdw Abbevll bonds are ever offered oo the market, bi buyers are ready to take them whenev offered. EAST END. What "91" Sees and Hears on Hi Rounds in'Country and in Town. BOSKSBUBG AMD COMPANY.
