It seems as if the season for marketing
the 1904 cotton crop will not'*$gd
until atter the marketing of tbe crop
of 1905 begins. There were several
bales of tbe old crop sold here last

scattered about over the country very
few if any of tbe planters, have begun
to pick cotton yet, in fact there is
i. but little open. Some fodder has been
- pulled but it would be bard to tell
when tbe Reason for gathering that
important crop will ecd it will certainly
not end until frost unless frost
? should be much delayed, as much of
the corn was phinted very late aud an
- early frost would catch much of it.
