The New Principal.
Mr. L. W. Dick, principal of the Graded
School, is now at work at the head or our
public Schools. Mr. Dick iB one of the ablest
and most successful teachers In the State,
and Abbeville Is lucky in securing the
services of so good a man. Mrs. Dick has
been sick for several weeks at their old home
In Aiken. She is now recovering and as
soon as she has sufficiently recovered from
her attack of fever she will join Mr. Dick in
Abbeville, where our people will be glad to
welcome her.
At present Mr. Dick Is staying with Mr.
Morse.

On September 16th, 1904, Burial Aid Society
No. 1, of Abbeville. S. C., met in their Hall in

others, represented their Societies. After an
