Abbeville Penny-Reading' Club. For the past few weeks some of our Abbeville ladles have been busying themselves in getting up some kind of a social club which ?hould outstrip in the literary and social ruce the Adhcvllle Literary Club to whose meetings ladies are not admitted. The monthly meetings of the Literary Club linvc been so pleasant Mie social enjoyment they give has been so great, the ladies saw no reason why they should not have a Club as good if not better. The result has been the organization of the Abbeville Fenny-Hemllng Club which dlflers froni the Literary Club in thik most Important and most attractive fcaturv that its meetings are open to both sexes.
