Tolbort. It geems that a stock lo^ had -been sent by Thomas B. Tolbcrt t< the mill of Joseph \Y. Cook to besawC'l, which for some reason had hoi ;bcen received. Cook came into I In field where the brothers were sowing ? wheat, and demanded two dollars ant forty cents, which Tolbert refused t( pay. An altercation arose, and Cooldrew his revolver and discharged i twice at Thomas B. Tolbert, wohik! ing him seriously in the neck ant! shoulder and arm.
