elicited: It appears upon an investigation
of the charges contained in caJet
Smith's letter relative to his treatment
by his fellow-cadets, that there
is considerable "originality." General
Pitehor, tho Superintchdent of the
Military Academy,interrogated Smith

of the Chnreh, and the connection
betweon pastor and charge,
highly profitable. Taken as a whole

spiritually and financially.

Parsonages, Ministerial Support, Tho
State of the Church, Denominational

evinced careful preparation, and their
adoption must bo productivo of benefit

on Wednesday night, was
preached by 1'ov. T. S. Daniels. The
llev. A. G. Worley, of the Georgia
Conference, occupied the pulpit on
Thursday night, the Bishop on Friday
morning, the licv. J. M. Carlisle at
night, urnl on Saturday night by the
Uev. Lucius Bellinger?tho strange
preacher.
On the Sabbath, the exercises wove
opened by a Liove Feast at 81 o'clock,
