good order and well kept.

as we arc in equal proportions of representatives
of the two races, -would
further state that in their judgment
the most serious impediment* to the
prosperity of this, or anj' Count}',
which involves the prosperity of every
citizen, arises from a want of mutual
confidence and from distrust in each
other?a want of hearty co-opevation
in building up our mutual interest, and
a recognition of each other as co laborers
in work in if out a common d?s

commend the cultivation of iv spirit of
friendship, kindness and forbearance
among all citizens of whatsoever condition.
Wo recommend that as common
citizens of a common country,
we unite our efforts for our mutual

and supplanted by neighborly union
and co-operation in all our proper so
