D. 18G8. Sue. 11. Trial Justices aro authorized to issue all necessary processes to carry their powers into effect, and may exercise all the powers heretofore conferred upon Magistrates. Sec. 12. Be it enacted, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of tho same, That there shall bo a general election for tho election of the various County officers (elective) held in each County on tho third Wednesday of October, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy, and on the same day in every second year thereafter, tiie officers otherwise provided for in the Constitution of tho State excepted Sec. 2. That tho present County officers shall continue to perform tho duties of their respective offices until their successors shall be elected and duly qualified. Sec. 3.
