in reply to inquiry made in regard to expenses
of holding cotton.
"The expense* of stoiing cotton io New
York is 25 cents a bale per month. The
insurance is 15 cents on $100 for one
nvoth, 22 cents for 2 months, 30 eonti
for 3 muni h, .'57 cents fur 4 months and
45 cents for 5 moniha."
