A Catalogued/ reasons' for using
DR. PETERS'
CELEBRATED VEGETABLE FILLS.
1 BECAUSE they are exceedingly popular,
? which proves them to be exceedingly good.
2. Because they are composed of simples which
have the power to do good in an immense number
of cases, without possessing the means to do injury
in any. - ' **>: ?? N
-- 3.- Because they are not a qnack medicine, but the
scientific compound of a regular physician, who has
made his profession the study of his life
4. Because they ate not unpleasant to take, nor
distressing iq retain, while they are most effective to
operate. - ? v ?. -> .
-'^?5. Because they are recommended as a standard
medicine by the regular faculty.
i " & Because by keeping ihe system in a natural
state of action, they cure almost every diseaso which
is incidental to the human frame.
7. "IfecausC they~are rh'eap and portable, and will
retain all their virtues in full vigor, in any climate,
and for any length of time.
8. Because, notwithstanding their simplicity and
mildness, they are one of the speediest purgative
medicines which has yet been discovered.
-<? 9. Because they are an unfailing remedy for pro
curing a good appetite.
10- Because in cases of spleen or despondency, by
their bSfclthy influence on the exciteu state of the
body, they have, a most happy cffect in calming and
invigorating the mind. s / ...
11. Because Jhey effect tlieiT cures without the
usual attendants of other pills, sickness and gri
pings.-^^ ?%: \ .x
lz: Because as well as being an unrivalled purifier
ol the general system, they are a sovereign remedy
for nck^teaid ache. ' v- _ \
13. Because theydiffer from the majority of me
dicine, in the fackthat the more they are known the
more they are approved. v,v .. -s
_ 14? Because as their application creates no debility
intbesystem-they^nay oe taken without producing
any huodrance to business or the usual pursuits of
everyday hfe. . , r V, . ..
157 Beeause when once introduced into a- family, of
a village, they almost immediately take the prece
dence of all other medicines in general complaints
r\. life Because a number of the wonderful cures they
i wve effected, can be substantiated without any
indue means being resorted, to, to procure invalid
osiimonie*. *?. < * -
[? 17.- Because their composition is such, that they
jre equally applicable to the usual diseases of warm,
cold, or temperas climates, i -. - c
18. Because two or three are in general sufficient
.or a dose?so that, as is the case with the generality
of patent' m edicin es?t he patient is not compelled to
tastkee meal of them? ??$?
19. Because each individual pill, is pal tip under
the immediate superintendence of the Proprietor, so
that no mistake in the composition or quantity can
possibly occur through thei carelessness of a less in
terested agent. ^ ? - v.
20. Because they purify the frame without debili
tating the system
21. Because, notwithstanding thei> immense pop
ularity, no person has ever ventured to raise against
them the breath of censure, which would not have
Jbeen the case, if envy could have discovered in
them sisingle flaw to c^vil at.
22. Because ? (and this fact is of the utmost im
portance ? ) ladies m a certain situation may take
ibera, (not more than two or three at a time howev
ever:) without in the- slightest degree incurring the
lazard of abort ion. Were the virtues of PETERS'
INESTIMABLE PILLS confined to this desirable
and alone, it would give them a decided advantage
over the medicines of all competitors, as in no cases
is there more danger to be apprehended, or for which
30 few remedies have been discovered, as the one
referred to.

Limestone Springs.
THIS healthy and agreeable Waterin&Place, es

for private gain, but to promote the prosperity of the
State, by arresting the current of Northern travel,

any similar establishment in the United States. The
main brick building will contain upwarJs of 100 bed
rooms, besides an extensive &awing-room, dining
room, and ball-room.. Two wooden houses and a
number of cabins suitable for families are also pro

for the amusement and recreation of the visiters ; and
the ball-room, with a suitable band of music, will be
always at their service. The main Spring is of de

beneficial to dyspeptics. It ia enclosed in marble,
and adjoins an open poTlico. 5ttfbet lofig and 26 wide,
