Its effects commence by deposition from
blood of corrupt or ulcerous mutter, which,
the lungs, liver, mul internal organs, Is tern

the surface, eruptions or sores. This foul c
ruption, which genders iu the blood, depres
the energies of life, so that scrofulous coiuti
tions not only suffer front scrofulous en
plaints, but they luivc far less power to wi

qucntly vast numbers perish by riUord
which, although not scrofulous iu their nati
ore still rendered fatal by this taint ill
system. Most of the consumption which
