been cheered forward by nil iucreasiug list of friends r<
and generous supp ^rters, by smiles of encourage- ^
ment nud words of comfort. To day wc feci that '

any furmer period. Under considerable accessions ' '
to our list, and an increasing advertising patronage,
we enter upon the Fourteenth Volume with renowed
energies.

T. O P. Vernon, Ksq , while walling a deep well,
