successfully indulge, notwithstanding tho
care and vigilence of the Teacher ai d
Trustees. The Teacher, especially, suf
fers the blame, although errors of this
are committed without his kitowledge-and
permission. Aware of this, and at Uttjjjj*
same time desirous to afford every reason
able security to parents and guardians, the

Every student shall be confined to one
particular store for the put^ase of thobo
articles of which he may stand in need ; his
account in said store, to be carefully exa

No student shall be permitted to play at
unlawful games, nor indulge in the us?of
ardent spirits ; and *o prevent these evils
their accounts in Taverns shall berexam in
ert once in every week, and a report obtain
ed at the end of evety fortnight, from the
