A new College is contemplated to
be established in the western part of
the State _ of North -Carolina. A
large meeting of respectable individ

two weeks since, for the purpose of
settling some ot (lie outlines of the
plan.? It is proposed by some, to
call the institution by the name of
the " Carolina College."
Musquitoes. ? At this time of the
year it may not be a miss to state,
that a wash of penny-royal and wa

the room will effectually clear it of
these troublesome insects.
