A new College is contemplated to be established in the western part of the State _ of North -Carolina. A large meeting of respectable individ uals was held at Lincolnton, about two weeks since, for the purpose of settling some ot (lie outlines of the plan.? It is proposed by some, to call the institution by the name of the " Carolina College." Musquitoes. ? At this time of the year it may not be a miss to state, that a wash of penny-royal and wa ter will prevent musquitoes from bit ing.
