State of South- Carolina f 7 Town of Camden. \ AN ORDINANCE* to amend an OrdV nance of ihc Town Council of Camden, passed the 28th day of July, A. D. 1819, entitled an Ordinance to prevent liogb from. running at large within the limits of the Town of Camden. i st. Be it ordained, and it is hereby ordained by the authority of the Town Council of Camden , That within fifteen days immediately after the Ratification of this Ordinance, it shall be the duty of , all persons, &ho may have plantations, or reside without the limits of this Town, and whose 1 Hogs may range, stray into, or ruu at large within the limits ot this Town, to render unto the Re* corderof the said Town, a discre tion of the marks of their Hogs, to entitle them to the benefit of the last clause of the first section of x the Or dinance aforsaid. Aud the Record er is hereby required to enter all the marks rendered unto him, under this Ordinance, iu a book to be kept by him, for that purpose ; and for every mark so entered by him, be sliall be entitled to 25 cents, to be paid to him out of the funds of the Tow n. ftd.
