Loud complaints were made in Brazil against, the Americans, for being concerned in the privateers ' w hich harass their trade, and against our government for suffering prizes to come into our, ports. Liverpool^ took back 13d steerage passsengers*. who recently arrived , here from England in pursuit of em ployment, but could find none. PHILADELPHIA, AUGUST 3. Disappointment.? It is computed that at least thirty thousand people resembled ou the Jersey shore, and the wharves of the city, yesterday afternoon to witness the ascension of an Air Balloon* which had been publicly announced. The multitude however, were completely disap* pointed, the projector of the ascent not being able to inflate his serial chariot. There being strong re&sous to believe the whole tiff air a hoax tn the public, it was with difficulty that tlie crowd were restrained from destroying the Balloon. We under stand, that several incisions were made in it with pen knives. Admitting that SO, 000 people cros sed and recrossed the Delaware yes* terday, the ferriage alone would amount to ?600 dollars. Angusle Chouteau and Col. Benja min Stephenson, commissioners on the part of the United States, and the chiefs and wairiorsof the Kicka-' poo tribe of Indians. The Kicka poos have ceded all their lands south east of the VV abash river, and the following tract of land, viz: ?
