Two of tho boxes contained ninty pairs of warm outing pajamas. This constituted the work of women throughout i'uo county, Kershaw, Heath Springs, Pleasant Hill, Pleasant Valley and Lancaster. The remaining two boxes were for the surgical dressings department, one on a recent allotment of irrigation pads and the other a number of muslin dr??sings. The latter contained 990 triangular, bandages, 395 abdominal bandages, 22u napkins and 15 T bandages. The box of irrigation pails was only one-fourth of an allotment now for some little time over due. Owing to so much sickness in the com munjty for some time, little has been done. Hut it is urged that all who are not nursing, devote as much of their time as possible to this work. Already a new allotment has been received and the irrigation pads must be completed at once so that work may be begun upon the new apportionment The rooms will bo open for surgical dressings every day in the week and all day long.
