are 13,193 this year, and 12,070 last

The Kershaw graded school shut
down Tuesday on account of the
shortage of coal. The next session
will open on Wednesday. January 2.
and In the meantime some improvement
will be made in the heating
apparatus.
Mr. I. H. Roscoe has resigned his
position with the Lancaster PepsiCola
Bottling company and will leave
in a few days for Canton, Ohio,
where he goes to take a position
with the United Alloy Steel corporation.
