Oct. 31.?The decision of the federal court here In the so-called Florida land fraud cases was upheld today by the United States circuit court of appeals sitting in Denver, according to a telegram received by Francis M. Wilson, United States district attorney. Dr. E. C. Chambers, president of the Chamber* Land Company of Kansas City, who was sentenced to two /<mrg imprisonment and fined 96,000 In the court here, and E. L. Russell of Miami, Fla., an agent of the land company, who was sentenced to serve a year and a day and was fined $375, appealed from the decision of the lower court.
