known citizens, lie had been in ill
health for a long time, aud had been
confined to his bed during the past
evcral weeks.
He was 59 years of age at the time
if his death, and is survived by his
wife and two brothers. J. C. Black,
n on of this county, and A. M. Blackmon
of Florida. Ills remains were
ntovroil Sunday afternoon in the
Antioch burying grounds, his pastor,
the Wo\. B. F. Carson, conducting
the funeral services. lie was buried
i'h Masonic honors hv the Antioch
Masonic Bod go. No '272. of which it
was a member.
Air. tiiaoKmon was an exceedingly
industrious, hard-working and sucr.-ssful
farmer whoso largo farm is

of Antioch, and was a man of influence
