Gets Itevenge on Heath Springs For
the I>efeat I just Week.
The Lancaster boys got revenge on
Heath Springs at last, for the defeat
they tendered them last week. The
game was played here and witnessed
by a comparatively large crowd.
It started off in a farcical manner,
Lancaster getting a 9-3 score In four
^ Innings. Heath Springs tightened up
at the change of pitchers; Lancaster
had been tight and was so till the
sixth. Julian Koss had pitched
splendid ball until, due to inexperience
in the box and lack of practice
there, he became a little weak |
in the sixth. Heath Springs annexed
six runs, making the score 10-9.
Of all the pitching, you never saw
such as young Gene Hough did in
the next three innings. He struck
out 8 men and the other out was a
-simple pop up.
Lancaster's stella, who deserve 1

tlon on first base, was Robert AMI- 1
son. He got 3 hits in this game, and '
has played five games without.an v
error. Again, as before, most of
Lancaster's runs were earned, and
those of opponents mostly on errors. P
