Itewpected i<ady or the Dixie Section
PawteN Away After Short Illness.
! Mrs. Allen Walters, the wife of Mr.
Allen Walters, passed away at her
home in the Dixie section Saturday
at noon, January 17th. She was a
daughter of the late Duncan Dees
of Chesterfield county. She was
born October 5th, 1861, living a life
of 52 years of service.
| During her short illness of two
weeks, it was borne with Christian
fortitude, patience and love for her
children and Saviour. Her death
was the result of measles. During
her sufferings all that physicians and
loving hands could do was done.
She will be greatly missed as a
loving wife, a devoted mother, a true
neighbor and one who lent a helping
hand to all she came in contact with.
She leaves a host of relatives and
friends to lament her sad death,
among them is the grief-stricken hus
band, Mr. Allen Walters, and the
following children: Mrs. George
, Knight, Mrs. Manly Brasington,
Misses Bertha and Bessie Walters,
Messrs. J. E? S. S., W. V., Vevin and
H. B. Walters, all of this county. She
is also survived by one sister, Mrs.
