Stewart of the Tabernacle sec- j tlon, a most beautiful home wedding, when their daughter, Deasie Evelyn, | was given in matrimony to Mr. Rob- , ert Kenneth Laney of Cheraw. Miss Stewart is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Stewart and has ever been noted for her rare accomplishments and beauty. She is a graduate of the Lancaster high school and of the Columbia College, at both of which institutions she was the leader of her class and the recipient of many honors as testlmon- , ials of her ability and popularity, i, After leaving college she took up the , work of teaching with much success, | having taught at Dillon, Johnston . V. J and Clinton, S. C. The groom Is a large and prosperous planter of Cheraw, and a son of the late John Laney of Chesterfield county. The marriage was a quiet home affair and only a small group of the Immediate families were invited. The 1 bride wore a beautiful wedding I gcwn of white crepe meteor and the groom was dressed in the regulation black. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. L. Bedenbaugh, of Chesterfield, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Kelly, pastor of the bride. Immediately after the cremony the, bridal party left by automobile for Monroe, N.
