Some Concerns Said to be
Violating National Liaw
Relating to Sale, Shipment
and Delivery of Liquors.
Editor The Lancaster News:
As some of the liquor houses
are sending out a letter to Express
Agents which is nothing
less than a bribe, we think it is
advisable that the following sec^
tions of the Knox Kill, recently
passed by Congress be published.
^ This part of the bill applies especially
to Ex. Agents and li.
ft. Companies.

order in each instance of the

k The following is a sentence
from one of the loiters referred
t0 above.
"On the other hand it you
yourself wish to make this raon

still better of it and want to as).
sure you that any dealings that
we have together and all communications
that pass between
us will be held strictly confidential.
We have a number of Express
Agents throughout the
United States that are making
nice money in this way and
some of them are handling this

business under an assumed name,
which of course is none of our

month we will send you our

part you would be surprised
to see what a snug little sum of
money this would amount to.

Now, we have a verbatim copy
