f 8 BETHCNE DOTS. What's Going on in the Hustling Little Town on the Seabo ard- -Large Opera House Being Built ?Other Improvements. Mr. Kditor : Allow me space in your valuable columns lor tome items from this clane. Ke. ihune is a thriving little town oil the Seaboard Airline Ry. The town is having a very large opera house built here now. Mr. W. G. Adams, ot Camden, has the contract and it is safe to pay that it will be a very substantial building, for Mr. Adams ..does uot do things by halves, There will be two nice large store rooms 20x90 feet. It will probably be occupied by Dr. Ingram* ot McBee, who will do a general mercantile busiuess. We have two new grocery stores opened up here recently, one &oown as the Cash Grocery store, and one by Mr. G. E. Phillips. Trade is very dull here now. And everything is quiet. We were glad to meet in town last Friday our old triend Mr. S. S Jones of Kershaw R. F. 1). 5. Mrs. Gillum Clybum of this place is visiting relatives and friends at Kershaw. We have a dispensary at this place, which seems to be doing a rushing business notwithstanding dull times. We have no marriages to report, but trom all appearances we will have two or three in the future. Farm work is progressing very nicely in this section. Some of | our most progressive farmers are through planting. Mr. Editor, come down and we will take you to the famous big spring on Lynches river and you can take a genuine cold bath. Rattier.
