For hours a row of wagons loaded with the lloecy staple extended all the way from the court house square to the cotton platform at the depot. Nine cents was the price paid. Mr. .1. K. While watering his mule the animal, becoming frightened at the noise made by the rolling ol a child's wagon, suddenly jumped, and alighting on Mr. Harris's foot, severely bruised the member. Little Samuel Milton, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Y. Cauthen, of Heath Springs, died last Wednesday, aged not quite fourteen months. He had about recovered from a spell of whooping cough, when he was attacked with grip, the effocts proving fatal. Tho burial was at Boaver I'reek Baptist church Thursday. Mr. <?. \V.
