A Tribute of xiespect.
Dedicated to the memory of our dear
wife, Lily J. Phillips, whodied the 28th
day ol Sept. 15HI8. she was 25* years, 10
months and 2 days old. We were married
on Jan. <>th, 1901, and not a cloud
ever passed over our happy wedded
life. She was a devoted wife, an affectionate
mother, a kind friend, and a
loving neighbor. It was only a few
days ago that our Heavenly Father
summoned our darling to leave her
earthly home. Our hearts are still
bleeding from the deep wounds inflicted
by her death; and the last tribute we
can pay to her is to go and place fresh
flowers on her grave.
oh, how vivid is her picture
Memory brings to me today
< 'f her face so calm and peaceful
As she in her collin lay.
oh, her beautiful hands so gently folded
< >ii nor c om and silent nreast?
( on? where the wieked cease from
t rotibling
And the weary are at rest.
We miss thee from our home, dear Lily
We miss thee from tit is place?
i >ur home is dark without thee, dear I .ily,
We miss thy smiling face.
We miss thee now, dear I,ily,
We miss thee day by day.
our pathway is lonely without thee,
dear Lily
Along the darksome way.
No more fatigue, no more distress, deai
I .ily,
No more sickness, pain and death
Are felt and heard by thee.
No sighs shall mingle with thy joys.
A precious one from us is none.
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place in our home is vacant, dear Lily,
Which can never be tilled.
'"ids hard to break the tender cord, deal
1 .ily,
When love has hound the heart;
'Tis hard, so hard, to speak the words
dear l.ilv.
"We must forever part."
Yet a yam we hope to meet thee, ileal
l.ily,
When the day of life is lied.
And in Heaven togrvet thee, dear l.ily
Where no parting teats nre shed.

The back aches because the kidneys

Help the kidneys with their work.
The back will ache no more.
Lots of proof that Dean's Kidney
Pills do this.
K. A. Kennedy, living at 107 Branch
St., Chester, S. C., says: "I have been
using Doan's Kidney Pills for several
weeks, and they have proven to be a
remedy that acts as represented. I
suffered a great deal from pains across
the small part of my back for over a
year. At times, sharp twinges would
dart through my loins, while again I
would suffer from a dull aching across
my kidney regions. The secretions
were often unnatural in appearance,
and showed, that my kidneys needed
attention. 1 used different remedies,
but nothing helped me as much as
Doan's Kidney Pills. Since using them
I have been steadily improving and the
results I have obtained lead me to
recommend this remedy most highly."
