Tlio marriage of Mr. William Stringfellow

Catherine Maekey, of Lancaster, was
duly solemni/ed here M ednesday, in
aeeordanee with announcement previously
made in The News. The ceremony
was performed at I o'clock in
the afternoon at the lovely home of Mr.
and Mrs. A. 1*. Mel.ure, brother and
sister of lite groom and bride, respectively,
the ltev. C. II. Jo dan. the
Kpiscopal clergyman of I'nion, otllcia
ling. ??nly members of the family and
a few friends were present, among them
Mr. \V. \Y. Johnson, of I'nion, aud
Mr. Harold Oliver, of llaltimoiv, who
aeeompanied the (.mwiii to l.aneaster.
The house was handsomely deeorated

the event. elaborate refreshments
were served after the eeremony. Tho
bride, at all times a \ ision of loveliness,
was on this eeeasion entranein^ly beautiful
and fnseinnting in an elegant, perfeetly

Mr. and Mrs. Mel, ire left on the afternoon
train for the [room's home in
I'nion, where he is extensively engaged
in the mereantih business.

held here yesterday.
