The musical concert at the
graded school auditorium Friday

church, was well attended and

tee was only ten cents.
The manager of the Southern
Cotton Oil company's plant at
Shelby N. C., has been warned
by anonymous letter that if he
continues to gin cotton "night
riders" will burn the gin. One
or two ginners in this county are
said to have received similar notices,
but little importance is attached
to them.

this place, sustained quite a loss
by fire in her residence last Fri
day, a lot of clothing, furniture
ect., being burned before the
