Sec. 2 The Mayor shall have power
to revoke ary license issued herein 1
for any souse of same.
Sec. 3. The charges for licenses 1
in any buainees not enumerated in
section one of this ordinance shall be
determined by the Mayor.
Sec. 4 That whenever In this or- 1
dinauce the term "dealer" is used, the
same shall include not only the principal
but, in his. her or their absense, ,
shall include any agent. cUrk or employee
managing the business reapeo- ,
tively referred to, and generally where
a license is hereiu imposed for the 1
carrying on of any business and the
same is carried on by any agent, clerk 1
or employee, such agent, clerk or employee
shall be subject to the penal- <
ties herein imposed, should the said
business be carried on without taking 1
out such license in the same manner
as if he, she or they was or were the
proprietors of said business.
Sec. 5. No license shall be transferred
from one llrtn to an ther, except
with a sale or transfer of a stock
of goods, shop, outtit or machinery,
and then only 011 the endorsement of
the Mayor.
Sec. 0 That it shall he unlawful
to c rry on any business, occupation
or calling during the year 1903 as set
forth in this ordinance without tiist
paying to the Town Treasurer the
lioense tax for said business, occupation,
calling or profession, who shall
issue to the person, firm or corporation
so paying a license a receipt
therefor, whi it shall entitle the said
person, tirm or corporation to carry
on the said business, occupation, culling
or profession within the corporate
limit- ot said town for the tiscul
year ending December 81st, 19oS.
Sec. 7. That any person or persons
firms or corporations, eititer by refusing
or neglecting to pay the required
license as herein provided siiali pay
a tine of not less titan live dollars nor
more than one hundred dollars, or tie
imprisoned for not less than five days
nor tin re titan thirty days.

Any person refusing to pay commutation
lax, perform said work,or furnish
the required substitute with necessary
tools .-hall be lined not less than
ten dollars nor more than tinny dollars,
or imprisoned not leg* than ten
duys nor more than thirty days, in
the discretion of the Major.

ordinances inconsistent herewith
