recently brought the following
articles to ray attention, costing
only ten cents. Dainty baskeb
in square, obiong and lieart i
shapes in difTerent colorings j
were in abundance. When 1 in j
ed with any pretty material that:
nmv nil hand, and ornamented
by ft small Low on the lid one
makes a lovely gilt tor a girl
friend. Diffeient shaped and
colortd pin-cushions, fo become
beautiful as well as useful addi
ti?-us to one's bureau when cov
ered by bit* of lace or muslin
and tiny little bows of narro*
ribbon, were to be seen. A pair
of garters to be made from ruffled
elastic, ten cents per yard,
finished with dainty little bows,
always proves an acceptable gilt.
Sufficient ribbon and pins may be
purchased for ten cents to make
one of those useful contrivancecalled
a pin lenilei. These hp
very easily made. Take a half
yard of ribbon, fold in the middle
with a leai of llunnel or flannelette
b'tween, on which pit.

In looking ovei a collection of
