Nashville, Tenn., Oct. 22.?
Never before was Nashville so
elaborately decorated as it was
today to give welcoirifl to President
Roosevelt. Banting, flag*,

were on almost everv house

which was crowded with people
from a radius of a hundred milea.
The weather was cool and bright.

The Confederate veterans received
the President in line and
requeeted his autograph, which
was written in a register prepared
for the occasion.
