Fuller Report of Meeting

church on Thursday of last week
and continued through Sunday.
The Moriuh Association is com
posed of the churches of Lancaster
county, twenty-two in number,
with a total membership oi
about 3,150. One new church,
Rich Hill, was organized during
the year. There were 210 bapt

was, "Some advantages ot being
on the mountain top with Jesus V
He emphasized the great need
<ot quiet devotion at tin pre-ont
dav as a fi ling preparation tor
service amid the busy tlnong.
The eemioii was timely, and made
an excellent impression.

W. T. Gregory presented the report
and spoke on the subject.
Further remarks were made by
about a dozen o'lier brethren.
The general drift of the discussion
was <o the effect that the disregard
of the Lord's day is be
coming a menace to our iustiutions
especially the churches.
Friday morning was given to
the discussion ol the Orphanage
and Elucation. Iiev. It. T.
Blackmon discussed Si ate Missions
in a report and speech. Dr.
W. T. Derieux spoke on 'lie
progress ami needs of the work.
Dr. J. H. Boldridge presented
an excellent reporl on Educa'ion,
?nd followed it with a strong
plea lor Christian education, lie
spo-e of 'he great progress of
Furman and the splendid scholars
who compose her (acuity.
Kev. O L. Stringfiel 1 was at hibest

Christian inlluence. Dr E. M.
