the space in your valuable paper '

which to give a short sketch ot '
the Association's trip to the
beautiful town o! Kershaw and
ot its meeting there.
On the morning of the 2nd,
bright and early, the R. F. D. '
boys of the historic o'd town of '
Lancaster hoarded the train for
Kershaw and by 8 a. m we bad *
reached our destination. On the 1
same train was the lion. D. F.

Sometime ago Mr. Fin'ey was *
importuned to meet with us and
give the boys a treat in the way '
of one ot his characteristic and
delight ully interesting and in- y
structive talks. Mr. Finley had
kindly consented to tavor us and '
we were anticipating the pleasure
of listening to him.
O'lr meeting convened at 10.30
o'clock. The first thing on
the program was the treat 1
just mentioned. Time and space *

few remarks on the Postal Service
in general?its vast m guitude
and importance. To say
we enjoyed his talk wonld Inputting
it mildly. At the conclusion
of his address the a-so- i
ciation took up its business in 1
regular form and order. By 12- a
SO o'clock all work was finished ?
and the time of next meeting t
agreed upon. It is to be held at i
lleath Springs, S. C., on the ?:
22nd, February, 1908. t
Following, immediately, the ti
adjournment came the most im- 1
portant event of the day and 1
that was to find some place where t
we could satisfy the intense lon^- 1
ings of the inner man, who by Ii
that time was making his pres- n
ence very evident. But such a li
place was not lone in doubt, for r
ample provision hail been triad a
by our noble brother carriers of r

Jones. This scrile, together j
with the Hon. D. K. Fmley, K
I). Tillman and (i. D. Ellis went
to the hospitable home of Mr.
and Mrs. I). F. Fletcher. Words
are inadequate to express our g
