Boy Killed by Lightning.
Jacksonville, Fla., Aug 4.?
At Fulton, a small town on the
Saint John's river, 15 miles from
here, Charles Leidv, Jr., 14 years
of age, was killed by a s'roke of
lighrtiing today, the holt running
down the front of a building and
entering a door. It struck the
boy 011 the neck, breaking the
spinal cord. Three others in the
building were rendered unconscious,
but all recovered within
an hour.

Another Unit Storm in the County
A destructive hail storm visited
the Louisville section last Friday
evening. Among the farmers
whose crops wev badly in
jured are Mr. John M. llinson
and his sons, Messrs. George and
Sidney llitison, and Mr. S. W.
Faulkenberry. There are no
doubt others but we have been
unable to learn their names.?
The damage to crops is estimated
from 25 to 50 per cent.
? Mrs. Aycock, wife of younir
Mr. Aycock of the Cotton Mills
community, died Friday night
and was buried Saturday. We
