badly scorched. The mail clerk
says the explosion of a lamp
caused the fire.

Mrs Robinson, wife of Mr,
Dunbar Robinson, of the cotton
mills community, died Thursday
evening. She had been sick foi

Her remains were buried in the

away with him Thursday after
noon as he was returning to Lan
caster When about a mile from
town, as the animal dashed
around a sharp curve in the road
Mr. Pardue was thrown from his
buggy, but fortunately escaped
serious injury. The horse came
into town with the vehicle.
