The many friends in this county of Mrs. Kllie (Mark, daughter ol the late Dr. J. M. Blakeney ol tins county, will regret to learn of her death which occurred or the 9th instant, at her home in Chesterfield county, of erysipe las. Her husband and two children survive her. Mr. J. K. Hunter, formerly ol the firm ol Hunter and Taylor who did business in the cotton mill district here, died at Oheraw om Tuesday last of appendicitis, He was about 40 years of age. * _ Announcements. f , ?
