The amount of the mortgage is $200,000,000., and it contains about 50,000 words. It covers 40 pages of the Clerk's record book. The fee for recording was $49.50. X ,4 Hood Citizen Leaves Lancaster. McMurray of this county, and Miss Jo>ie Lyon, of Abbeville, were married on the 7th instant An Abbeville special in Sunday's issue of the Col umbia State gives the following account of the wedding: A marriage in which many people throughout, the State were interested was that ot Miss .Josie Lyon and Dr. McMurray, which took place at the bride's home on Thursday, June 7, at 3 o'clock p. in. On account of the recent death of the bride's Tatl ler, Captain John Lvon, the wedding was a very quiet one. The ceremony whs performed by Rev. E. B. Kennedy, of the Ass ociata Reformed Presbyterian church in the presence of the family and a few intimate friends ojnd immediately alter the bride ;uid groom left lor a visit to Lancaster. Mrs. McMurray is a lovely young woman and is deserved ly popular.
