finished recording the Southern
Railway's mammoth mortgage on
its various properties. The
amount of the mortgage is $200,000,000.,
and it contains about
50,000 words. It covers 40 pages
of the Clerk's record book. The
fee for recording was $49.50.

account of the wedding:
A marriage in which many
people throughout, the State
were interested was that ot Miss
.Josie Lyon and Dr. McMurray,
which took place at the bride's
home on Thursday, June 7, at
3 o'clock p. in. On account of
the recent death of the bride's
Tatl ler, Captain John Lvon, the
wedding was a very quiet one.
