How Patrons May Aid Faith- '
ful Carriers.
The following bits of advice are

In regard to boxes, help your g
carrier by having a good one in n
a good easy place to drive up to i]
and always have your mail ready, e
If you have visitors who are a
expecting mail, you should give Q
the carrier their names.
Any mail matter deposited in
box is subject to ordinary postage
rates.
Packages should be well wrap- '
ped and securely tied, and all
valuable letters and packages "
should be registered. n
The mail boxes are protected h
by the government. Any one o
tampering with them should be I
reported at once to your post- j,
master. ,
Don't let your neighbor hitch j
his horse to your mail box post,
so that your carrier has to get
out of his wagon to put mail in.
Don't forget to clean snow- 11
drifts from your box. e
Don't let your mail box lean b
half way over. t
Don't set vour box on your t
picket fence. If you do don't t
blame the carrier if he hubs your t
fence and tears off a dozen or |
more pickets. i ^
Don't put letters in the box
and forget to raise the flag.

on the post when your neighbor's
