Basket Supper.
There will be a basket supper
at College Hill Academy, N. C.,
near Mr. Robt. MeNeely's, on
Thursday night, Dec. 28th, at 7
o'clock. Everybody is invited to
come. Girls are requested to
bring baskets lull ot something
good to eat. We want at least
fifty baskets and plenty bidders.
The net proceeds will go to buy

Saturday and lodged in jail by
direction of Sheriff Hunter, on a

there is a sealed sentence in
Clarendon against ilie young
man for assault and battery
with intent to hill.
