A Sad Death at Oakhurst.
Master Oa**1 Rollings, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Louis R. Rollings,
of Oakhurst, died Thursday, at
\ the home of his parents. The
lad was operated upon in Charleston
about two weeks ago for
throat trouble and his death was
due to blood poison, resulting,
4.^ it is thought, from the opera
% lion.
' Carl was a bright, promising
/f child, aboui 7 years old, and
his untimely death is indeed a
severe blow to his fond parents.
He had a number of young
friends in Lancaster, whore Mr.
.Rollings and family resided
year before last, who will be
pained to hear of his death. The
burial was at old Salem ceme
imy yesterday afternoon.

death.

$5000. damages against the
Catawba Power Company, tor
injuries received at. its plant

judgment in the York court this
week against the company for
