in Odar Creek township, in Lancaster
county, in the State of South Carolina,

& Co, formerly the Baker lands;
south and west by the estate lauds of
Lewis Patterson.
Also, all that piece, parcel or tract
of land,situate in Pleasant Hill township.
in said county and state, containing

acres, more or less, and bounded
north by lands formerly known as
the Stewnjan lands; east by lauds of
John Harper; south and southeast by
the estate lands of John Bailey; west

purchasers to pay for all necessary

purchasers fail to comply with their

penalty from October 15 to December

The tax levy for State purposes ia
5)6 milla, for ordinary county purposes
4)^ mills, special county purposes
(L. A C. R, R. bonds) 3 mills, constitutional
tax for sohool purposes 3
mills, making a total levy of 15 mills
ou all taxable property of the county.
In School Distriots Nos. 5,80, 82 and
46. there is a special levy of 2 mills
additional for school purposes: in
District No. 24,3 milla; Distriots Nos.
12, 17 and 39, 4 mills; District No. 38,
5 mills? No. 14. 6 mills, anil No 40
7 mills. In Cane Creek Township
there is a special looal levy of mills
for railroad purposes; Gills Creek, R
mills, and Pleasant Hill, 3 mills.
There is also a tax of one dollar on
each male citizen between the ages of
twenty-one and sixty years, except
ex-Confederate soldiers and sa<lors,
or those who are so disabled that they
cannot earu a support by manual
