Pages Clothmakers Maggard Promoted to Plant No. 2 Assistant Carding Superintendent Mike Maggard has been promoted from card technician to Plant No. 2 assistant carding superintendent, second shift. He joined Clinton Mills in 1983 as a car ding service operator. Prior to joining Clinton Mills, he was associated with Wometco Food Ser vices. A native of Kentucky, he is married and the father of two children. His hobbies include hunting and fishing. Mr. Maggard Wells Promoted to Plant No. 1 Assistant Weaving Departmental Superintendent Jimmy Wells has been promoted to Plant No. 1 assistant weaving departmental superintendent, second shift, and Nathaniel Pitts has transferred from the second to the fourth shift. Wells joined Clinton Mills in 1976 as a weaver and was later promoted to loom tech nician. A graduate of Stutt- gard American High School, Wells attended Piedmont Technical Col lege where he majored in textile management. He served two years in ^ yy e || s the U.S. Army with ser vice in Germany. His wife, Sandra, is a Plant No. 1 cloth room associate. Lawton Named 3rd Shift Assistant Departmental Superintendent Larry Lawton has been named 3rd shift assistant departmental superintendent. Plant No. 2 weaving. Lawton, a native of Ware Shoals, lives at Rt. 2, Kinards. He is married and the father of four children and attends Fairview Baptist Church in Kinar ds. He is also a U.S. Army veteran. Prior to his promotion, he was a loom techni cian. He has been associat ed with Clinton Mills since April 25, 1983. Prior to joining Plant No. 2 he was with Greenwood Mills. Mr. Lawton Pitts Promoted to 5th Shift Assistant Departmental Superintendent Sammy Pitts has been promoted from Plant No. 2 spinning technician to assis tant departmental superintendent, 5th shift. He is active in Hebron Baptist Church where he has served as a trustee and Sun day School teacher. His hobbies include fishing, hunting and auto mechanics. Mr. Pitts Littleton Named Assistant General Superintendent of Plant No. 1 Carding and Spinning Gerald Littleton has assumed the posi tion of assistant general superintendent of Plant No. 1 carding and spinning. He joined Clinton Mills December 15, 1980, as an assistant departmental super intendent. Prior to this, he was associated with J.P. Stevens. A native of Clinton, Ml . LlRktan Gerald is a graduate of Clinton High School, married, and has three children. He and his family reside at 101 S. Jones Street and attend the First Baptist Church. Need Help?
