Finley Promoted
Richard Finley has been promoted
from Spooler Technician to Assistant
Spinning Superintendent.
Finley, who joined
Clinton Mills May 22,
1956, has previously
worked as a Sweeper,

Hk ~ Technician.
He completed his
high school education
\ |v through Clinton’s
Adult Education Program. Prior to that,
he had completed an ICS course in yarn
and fabric production.
An active member of Bailey Memorial
United Methodist Church, he is also a
member of Campbell Masonic Lodge No.
44, and the Hejaz Shrine Temple.
A former U.S. Navy Veteran, Finley is
married and has three children. His wife,
Joyce, is a Bailey Plant Spinner.

Steve Floyd has been promoted from
Bailey Plant Assistant Carding Superin
tendent to Cloth Room Superintendent.
A 1972 graduate of Clemson Univer
sity, Floyd joined Clinton Mills in 1976.
He is a member of St. Boniface Catholic
Church and a member of the Kiwanis
Club.
Ray Lane, Cloth Room Superintendent
since 1971, has transferred to the Spinn
ing Department as Superintendent.
George Grant, Spinning Superinten
dent since 1977, has been transferred to
Weaving Superintendent.
Gary I. Kuykendall has been promoted
from Management Trainee to Bailey
Plant Assistant Carding Superintendent.
He joined Clinton Mills June 1, 1978.
He is a 1974 graduate of Clinton High
School and received his B.S. Degree in
Business Administration from Lander
College in 1978.
Kuykendall is a member of the Clinton
First Presbyterian Church.

For Lydia Receptionist. . .
Everything Looks Brighter
Lydia Plant Receptionist Pat Tucker is featured on the front of a recently
released Belltone Album entitled “Everything Looks Brighter.”
The album, consisting of 10 songs, features Pat at the piano; her husband
George, a former employee on the guitar; Danny South, son of Plant No. 2 Cloth
employee Bobbie South, as the lead singer; and Kitty Norris, daughter of retired
Lydia Old Timer Lessie Davis. Others in the Belltone group include Wilson
Barnes and Minnie Sue Stephens.
