Page 4 They Are 'Weekend' Soldiers Twenty one Clinton Mills employees who are “weekend” soldiers with the 3648 Heavy Maintenance Company in Clinton recently spent two weeks in Karlsruhe, Germany. The group left Clinton April 6 and returned April 21. While in Germany, the group received extensive training in repairing heavy equipment such as graders, cranes, tanks, and other wheel military vehicles. Plant No. 2 Carding Superintendent Bob Hooks is a Warrant Officer with SCNG. Twenty one Clinton employees participated in the overseas training exercises.
