EFA Celebrates 25th Anniversary
March 31st marked the 25th Anniversary of Elastic Fabrics of America. An around
the clock celebration began by Associates wearing specially designed silver anniver
sary t-shirts, followed by a 1:00 p.m. birthday cake cutting ceremony in the training
room.
The 200 pound cake was a two (2) scale model replica of the plant and grounds.
The Board of Directors of CMI Industries headed by Mr. Thad Williams, Chief Ex
ecutive Officer, met at the plant in observance of the occasion.
Associates were honored with a barbecue, and presented a commemorative 1967
silver quarter, which was first circulated the same year EFA started in business.
