Making your future brighter
'The Clinton Credit Association
can help make your financial future
much brighter," says Manager
Harvey Dickert.
"We're experienced in helping
employees with various money
problems," emphasized Dickert.
"Many of our employees are
beginning to think about their
retirement. There is no better way
to enjoy those non-working years
than having a comfortable savings
program to help supplement social
security," he explained.
"Our generous share accounts
pay competitive interest rates and
our certificates earn good returns.
Many employees have moved their
savings account from banks and
savings and loans because the
Credit Association pays a much
higher rate."
The Clinton Credit Association
has provided hundreds of
employees affordable loans as well
as expanded savings opportunities.
New Goal
Our goal is to expand our
membership for the weekly payroll
deduction savers, he noted. "Many
people are even coming in and
opening accounts for their
grandeWldren, and this helps family
members build security for others.
We are very flexible in the services
we offer."
Loan Demand High
"Our loan demand continues to
exceed our expectations. We need
to attract at least a million dollars in
new share account funds. We are
encouraging our members to move
idle funds from other sources to the
Credit Association and then add to
these accounts each week through
the payroll deduction program,"
reports Dickert.
The Credit Association is a major
fringe benefit afforded Clinton
employees. Payroll deduction
makes loan payments and saving
easy and eliminates the need for
employees to stand in line to handle
financial transactions.
In order to service the
unprecedented number of loans, the
association needs at least another 1
million dollars in deposits. Each
deposit up to $100,000 is insured by
a federal agency, thus making the
Credit Association one of the safest
financial institutions in the country.
Dickert encourages members to
compare loan rates before making a
commitment. In most instances, the
Clinton Credit Association can
provide lower cost loans to' its
members.
