Blood Drive 134 employees give at blood drive A total of 134 Plant 1 and 2 office employees gave the gift of life as the Carolina-Georgia Blood Center medical personnel accepted blood donations. Sonny King coordinates the Company's blood drive activities. King noted that the program needed more blood donors. "Many potential donors just do not take time to give," he explained. "Under the Company's blood assurance program, Clinton Mills will arrange for unlimited blood replacements anywhere in the United States for the employees, his or her spouse, and eligible dependents." King noted that area hospitals are dependent upon ample blood supplies for need treatment and surgical uses. "We have replaced up to 52 pints for employees," he noted. "It's not uncommon for a heart surgery patient to use up to 20 pints or even more. One call takes care of this." Clinton Mills is pleased to provide participation in the blood assurance program as a additional medical fringe benefit.
